Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Vario (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Vario is a WooCommerce variation management tool that provides a spreadsheet interface for editing product variations. The Service is operated by WP Butler.

2. Description of Service

Vario provides tools to manage WooCommerce product variations through:

• A spreadsheet-like interface for viewing and editing variations
• Bulk editing capabilities for prices, stock, and other attributes
• Real-time synchronization with your WooCommerce store via the REST API
• Filtering and search functionality for large product catalogs
• Multi-shop management for users with multiple WooCommerce stores

3. Account Registration

To use Vario, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Ensuring your WooCommerce API credentials are kept secure

4. WooCommerce API Access

To use the Service, you must provide WooCommerce REST API credentials. By providing these credentials, you:

• Authorize Vario to access and modify product data on your behalf
• Confirm that you have the right to grant this access
• Understand that changes made through Vario will directly affect your WooCommerce store

Your API credentials are encrypted and stored securely. We never share your credentials with third parties.

5. Subscription Plans and Payment

Vario offers the following subscription options:

• Free Plan: Up to 50 variations, all features included, no time limit
• Pro Plan: $9/month for unlimited variations and priority support

Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Polar. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable subscription fees
• Automatic renewal until you cancel your subscription
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service to transmit malware or malicious code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal usage

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as follows:

• Account information (email, name) for authentication and communication
• WooCommerce store data (products, variations) for providing the Service
• Usage analytics to improve the Service

Product data is synced from your WooCommerce store and cached temporarily to provide the spreadsheet interface. You retain full ownership of your data.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues or updates
• Factors beyond our control (e.g., your WooCommerce store availability)

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Data loss resulting from your use of the Service
• Incorrect modifications made to your WooCommerce store
• Loss of revenue or profits
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your WooCommerce data.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• You may cancel your account through your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked
• Data may be deleted after account termination

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
